How it's
made

Every claim below is process, material, or provenance. None of it is about what the object does — it is an ornament, not a tool.

The drawing

Original artwork by Kesley Greyshine, produced under partner agreement. Line work is prepared as a cut path, not as a print file.

Acid etch

Photochemical acid etching — not laser cutting and not anneal marking. The metal is chemically removed where the drawing is.

Openwork

The etch goes all the way through the blank. The design is negative space with an integrated bail — no soldered loop.

Finish

Shipped bare. 316L takes a grey satin surface straight from the etch; no plating is applied at this stage.
